TogMog visit to The Savill Garden on Wed 1st October.

The Savill Garden is England's finest woodland garden - a domain of shady paths and colourful discoveries. 35 acres of trees and shrubbery, ponds and streams, lawns, meadows and formal beds are home to some of the world's most beautiful decorative plants. The Garden opens at 10 and we plan to meet around 10.30 for coffee, followed by a guided tour of the gardens at 11.15. The tour can take between 1 and 1.5 hours depending on how many questions we ask along the way. We can park in the grassed area behind the main building, instead of using the public car park. Please look out for Morgans direction signs. The cost is 7 per person and includes entry, the guided tour and parking. There is no discount for RHS or similar membership. Please pay me on the day so that I can pay for the whole group and thereby obtain the group discounted price.Run by Leith's, the spacious restaurant is open all day. We can have morning coffee or lunch under the dramatic sweep of the of the roof or out on the terrace enjoying views of the garden. (not included in the entry price)How to get there:The Savill Garden, Windsor Great Park, Wick Lane, Englefield Green, Surrey, TW20 0UUwww.theroyallandscape.co.ukPlease let me know in advance if you plan to join us on the trip either by email or phone: Mike or Beverley Wilson
